Here are answers to a few of the questions I get asked now and again by potential clients.
What are your rates?
Every project is unique, so every quote will be too.
My rates will depend on the length of the project, the topic, the word count, the complexity, the research involved and more.
I charge for the majority of translation projects by the word, and subtitling projects by the minute.
For transcreation and copywriting projects, I normally work on an hourly or project rate.
Please get in touch for a totally no-strings-attached quote tailored to you.
What if I need my project urgently?
If you need a rush project, please let me know in advance so I can create a custom quote based on your requirements. A rush fee may be added for projects with tight deadlines.
How does payment work?
After delivering your project, I will send you the invoice, which can be paid by bank transfer, through Wise or PayPal.
If you’re a new client, I’ll ask for a deposit to be paid before we start.
Do you offer interpreting services?
No, I specialize in translation, subtitling and copywriting, so I work only with the written word.
If you are looking for interpreting services, I will be able to recommend a colleague.
How long will a project take?
The amount of time it takes to deliver your project depends on its length, the topic and my availability.
Generally, my daily output is about 2000 words/day for translations and 20 minutes/day for subtitling. Having said that, please consider that very often I’m already working on some other projects when you get in touch.
Are you a native speaker?
Yes! I’m a native speaker of Italian.
What languages do you work with?
I translate from English and Portuguese (PT-BR) into Italian, my mother tongue.
If you are looking for different language pairs, I will be able to recommend a colleague or manage your project for you.

When requesting a quote, please indicate your name or company name, your email or phone number, the type of service you are asking for and attach your project file(s) and any relevant reference material. In case of large files or videos, you can use WeTransfer or transfer via FTP.
